A bed of their own
A bed frame, a mattress and sheets for every child, in a safe dormitory on campus.
Our orphanage
Built in 2025, funded in full by The Anonymous Project, and part of the school from the first day.

How it began
Work on the orphanage was planned from April 2025, when The Anonymous Project and the school began working together.
Two orphanage blocks were built on the school site and completed by September 2025. The children live, eat and learn on one campus, a short walk from their classrooms and the masjid.

Registering every child
The school directors travelled the country to register and admit each child.
The children come from across Uganda, and most have lost one or both parents. They are of every faith and denomination, and every one of them is welcome here.

A home, not just a bed
Each child was admitted with uniforms, food, a bed, sheets, a mattress and a bed frame. Everything is covered by The Anonymous Project.
A bed frame, a mattress and sheets for every child, in a safe dormitory on campus.
Every child is fed daily on site, so they are ready to learn and to play.
Each child is admitted into Abu Musa Islamic Primary School and given a uniform.
Their education continues to secondary school. Everything is free for the child.

Open to every faith
Abu Musa is an Islamic school, and the orphanage welcomes children of every denomination and faith.
There is no prejudice towards any faith. Every orphan who comes to us is cared for in the same way, with the same bed, the same meals and the same place in class.
Who pays for it
Serve In Silence · Registered UK charity no. 1215166
A UK charity that serves in silence. At Abu Musa it built both orphanage blocks and a water well, sponsors the school and funds improvements as needs arise.
