Who we are

This website belongs to Abu Musa Islamic Primary School in Pallisa District, Uganda. The school is responsible for the personal information collected through it.

What we collect

• Enquiry form: your name, email address, optional phone or WhatsApp number, your role, the topic and your message.
• Mailing list: your email address, your consent and the page you joined from.

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. The site remembers in your own browser whether you have closed or joined the mailing list pop-up, so it is not shown again. This never leaves your device.

How we use it

• To reply to your enquiry about donations, partnerships, admissions or visits.
• To send school news and appeals by email if you joined the mailing list.

We only email you updates with your consent, and every email will include a way to unsubscribe.

Who can see it

Your details are seen only by the school staff and governors who handle enquiries and supporter updates. Form submissions are stored by our website host, Netlify, on our behalf. We never sell your details or share them for marketing.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to respond and for reasonable record keeping. Mailing list details are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove them.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent to emails at any time. Email info@abumusaschool.com or send a request through the enquiry form and the school will respond.

We aim to follow Uganda’s Data Protection and Privacy Act 2019, and to respect the rights of supporters in other countries under their own data protection laws.

Photographs of pupils

Photos of pupils are published only with the consent of a parent or guardian, and we do not name children on this website. If you would like a photo removed, please contact the school.
